What do I do?

I will provide search engine optimization consulting to your company’s “web guy” or anyone else who is in charge of internet marketing within your company. I charge $40/hour, and will work with you to have information and ideas prepared so that your time (and money) isn’t wasted with useless filler information.

While pay-per-click (PPC) advertising has it’s role in the realm of internet marketing, search engine optimization is a more effective strategy long-term and financially.  Millions of people are searching on Google each and every day, and with proper keyword research, we can identify how many are searching for your services with various keywords and phrases.  Then, once you have received a top organic position on Google’s results for those keywords, you can expect residual traffic for many months and years to come.  This is targeted, continuing and free traffic.

What can you expect from the first consulting session (about 2 hours)?
  • Identification of the best keywords for you to target with your business (based on competitiveness and number of monthly searches),
  • The basics of how both on-website and off-website SEO work, and what you need to do,
  • Understanding of a reasonable time frame to see results based on how much time you have to devote to internet marketing,
  • Good sources to begin getting links back to your website,
  • Setting up tracking to check your progress.
What can you expect from continued consulting sessions?
  • More in-depth SEO knowledge and additional link building resources,
  • Identification of longer-term keyword goals.
