What do I do?

I make websites for small businesses.  It won’t be revolutionary, but it also won’t be expensive.  If you have been shopping around for a website design, you have probably seen some expensive prices.  Not here, because I am only going to charge you $500.  Why so cheap?  I use WordPress as a content management system and I customize WordPress templates to fit your businesses needs.  This keeps my costs lower and I pass those savings onto you.  Find out more by reading some of the most frequently asked questions about my services below or use the contact form to get your website started.

Why do I use WordPress & WordPress templates?

Although WordPress started as a way for people to easily blog online, it has evolved into a full-blown content management system.  The reason I use it to create your website is because it has a template system, allowing me to find a template that meets your needs and customize it to help make it unique.  It is also very easy to use, as well as easy for you to change the content so you don’t have to continually pay me every month (like my competitors) in order to make little changes on your site… you’ll be able to do it easily yourself! (By the way, this site is made on WordPress… could you even tell?)

What does the $500 cover?
  • A 5-10 page website, perfect for showcasing your business info, your services, photos, a contact form, and other pages.
  • Your choice of template to best meet your company’s style.
  • FREE on-website search engine optimization (Google takes many different factors into account when deciding how to rank websites, including both on-website and off-website factors. Your website will be optimized fully upon delivery, so when you do decide on starting a search engine optimization campaign, the on-website factors will be taken care of for you).
  • 10% discount towards the first 3 hours of an SEO consultation (no minimum purchase).
  • I will teach you the basics of how to make changes on your website (to eliminate useless maintenance fees you’ll see with my competitors).
What does the $500 not cover?
  • A domain name (www.yourbusiness.com, .net, or .org). (I can show you how to purchase it cheap.  I have heard of too many horror stories of a web guy being in control of a company’s domain.  I want you to be in control of it in case you choose to do whatever you want with it in the future.)
  • Website hosting.  You can opt to host the website at a host of your choice, I can recommend one to you, or you can host through me for $80/year (or $7.50/month).
  • On-going maintenance.  You’ll have the ability to easily make changes, or if you host through me, I can make quick little changes for you as you need.
